Meet Johnny!

Johnny Standerfer, a Frisco native, owns Poppa’s Pit BBQ Catering.  He married Roxanne O’Dell from Prosper and they raised 3 children in the Prosper ISD.  They still reside in Prosper.  Johnny is a 4th generation farmer in Collin County and has ventured into catering due to the rapid decrease of farmland.  Family and friends that he has cooked for over the years encouraged him because of the delicious quality of his many culinary dishes.  He pays special attention to the needs of each individual customer and tailors a meal plan specifically for them.

He looks forward to the opportunity to cater your next event.   He has done weddings, office parties, banquets, construction sites, birthday parties and several charitable events in which he donated the meat and all proceeds to better our community.
